From September 30 - October 3, a cohort from ACRONYM will be taking part in The Educational Artist Residency at Avaloch. The ensemble is thrilled to be returning to the community that has fostered their growth over the years.

Fire & Grace - Edwin Huizinga and William Coulter, known for their compelling arrangements of Folk and Baroque music, join forces with Fiona Gillespie - acclaimed Classical and Folk singer. The Mirror Visions Ensemble sings its way to far-flung destinations, real and imaginary. Travel songs by Barber, Berlioz, Blangini, Britten, Haydn, Poulenc and Schubert share the ride with MVE commissions by Tom Cipullo and Scott Wheeler, as well as Gilda Lyons' "Great Barrier Reef." The poetry of Hardy, Joyce and Metastasio is featured, as well as the correspondence of Paul Bourget, Isabella Stewart Gardner and Edna St. Vincent Millay.
Inspired by animals and the natural world, Les Délices’ vibrant program, Wild Things features charming musical settings of Aesop’s Fables plus instrumental music depicting birds, cats, frogs, insects, and more by Heinrich Biber, François Couperin, Jean-Philippe Rameau, and others. Debra Nagy takes Arcadian Dreams to Eugene, OR. Featuring music of the High Baroque, included is a Scarlatti harpsichord sonata, an ensemble (baroque oboe feature) of Corelli’s La Folia, and a small bevy of French cantatas (Rameau, Lefebvre, and Bourgeois).
